After Care Support Staff

After Care (3 : 00 p.m. - 5 : 30 p.m.)

Monday through Friday

Duties include, but are not limited to, the Aftercare program including :

Supervise students in the After Care Program at all times

Maintain assigned schedule

Fill-in (cover shifts) for absent staff members as needed

After Care Teacher will work directly with children ages Preschool through Grade 5

Administer snacks

Help students complete homework

Track attendance

Problem solve and report issues to supervisor

Communicate changes / updates with parents, and other stakeholders

Attend staff meetings as needed throughout the school year

Be familiar with state regulations for supervision

Be familiar with school and staff policies for Saint Joseph School and Preschool

Qualifications :

Must have a high school or general education diploma

Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

Preferred to hold or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
