Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery role requiring recent L&D experience and a TX or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting with primary assignment in the Labor & Delivery unit

Care for laboring mothers and newborns in a high-acuity environment

May float to Mother Baby unit to care for newborns if NICU census is low

Provide nursing care to laboring mothers and assist in deliveries

Care for newborns as needed in Mother Baby unit based on census

No 100-mile radius rule applies to this nursing position

Must provide two completed supervisor or manager references for consideration

A current skills checklist and recent primary source verification of license are required

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license required

Recent experience in Labor & Delivery nursing is required

Current, unexpired driver’s license is required for hospital-based RN contracts
