Surgery - Vascular Nurse Practitioner

Join a growing Cardiovascular Surgery team in Jackson, Michigan as a Locum NP supporting a busy CVICU in a Level II Trauma Center . This is a high-impact, low-call role with flexible 12- or 24-hour shifts , autonomy , and excellent support all while earning $165 / hr and enjoying complimentary travel and lodging .

Location : Jackson, MI

Rate : $165 / hr

Dates : ASAP through December 2025 (may extend)

️ Shifts : 12-hour day / night rotation (24-hr option available)

Call : No call required

Facility Details

Practice Setting : Hospital-based CVICU

Daily Census : 9 patients

EMR : EPIC

Supervising Physician : Onsite (day), Phone (night)

Trauma Level : Level II

Adult-only population (18+)

️ Duties & Required Skills

Placement of Central Venous and Dialysis Catheters

Arterial line insertion

Chest tube placement

Must be comfortable working autonomously , especially on night shifts

Requirements

Board Certified : AANP or NCCPA REQUIRED

Acute Care trained & certified REQUIRED

BLS & ACLS (AHA) REQUIRED

Michigan license Highly preferred (willing to consider those applying)

Minimum 2 years' relevant CVICU / critical care experience REQUIRED
