Travel Nurse Job Details Estimated Weekly Pay : $1700 - $1750 Location : Wilmington, NC 28403 (North Carolina nursing jobs) Assignment Length : 13 to 26 weeks Start Date : November 24, 2025 Shift : 12-hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 or 48 hours available Patient Ratio : 1 : 6-7 Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend and holidays Floating : Required to similar units and alternate care locations, including main campus 15 minutes away Type : Travel RN contract Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent Med / Surg or Ortho RN experience preferred Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state (required at time of start) BCLS certification required Experience with electronic charting systems (EPIC) Must pass EKG testing prior to start Ability to float to similar units and alternate care locations as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted) ACLS, central line care / management, and blood product administration experience preferred Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med / Surg Tele patients in a fast-paced clinical environment Monitor and manage patients with dysrhythmias; implement O2 protocols Perform non-invasive airway management and peripheral line care Utilize EPIC for electronic charting and documentation Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols Activate Rapid Response Team as needed Float to similar units and alternate care locations within the hospital system Participate in Storm Team and / or Hurricane Team as assigned Work every other weekend and be available for holiday coverage as required Wilmington, NC is a top destination for travel nurses, offering coastal relaxation, lively downtown attractions, excellent dining, and a welcoming healthcare community.
