About the Role

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Fundraising and Community Engagement. This pivotal role involves cultivating meaningful relationships and enhancing financial support from our existing base, while also inspiring new community members to become significant contributors. You will play a crucial part in growing a robust grassroots movement focused on advocacy and voting.

Your responsibilities will include creating and implementing strategic plans to boost community engagement and revenue, building and sustaining donor relationships, and achieving our fundraising targets. This role will require identifying, recruiting, and developing lay leadership for various initiatives, as well as providing regular updates to encourage participation in our policy and advocacy efforts.

We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of proven experience in fundraising, along with strong ties to the Jewish community and schools. A deep commitment to Jewish education and advocacy is essential. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a keen ability to adapt in dynamic situations. Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset are crucial.

The right candidate will be a team player who can work independently while managing multiple assignments with attention to detail. A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience is acceptable. Please note that this position is remote, but you must reside in the Los Angeles area.
