About our YouTube Channel Manager :

As YouTube Channel Manager, you will drive the growth of Audiochuck’s YouTube presence across flagship brands, including Crime Junkie, and beyond. In this high-impact role, you will help to define and execute our YouTube strategy, oversee channel operations, and collaborate with leadership to ensure YouTube is a key growth lever for Audiochuck.

You will lead conversations across cross-functional teams, manage external partners, and deliver on ambitious subscriber, viewer, and monetization goals. This role requires a seasoned strategist with deep expertise in YouTube growth, analytics, and monetization, as well as the ability to influence content strategy and build scalable systems that expand our audience reach.

What You’ll Do :

Channel Growth Tactics : Drive growth through consistent application of best practices, data-driven testing, and emerging trends with a focus on increasing subscribers, views, and engagement across channels.

Channel Optimization : Manage A / B tests to help improve CTR, watch time, and average view duration, and use data-informed insights to provide recommendations to scale KPIs across all YouTube channels. Input and maintain accurate SEO metadata, tags, titles, and descriptions to optimize discoverability and platform performance.

Analytics & Reporting Support : Translate audience insights and competitive trends into long-term growth initiatives. Develop robust reporting frameworks and predictive models to guide content and monetization decisions.

YouTube Strategy Execution : Partner with leadership to evolve the YouTube growth strategy across all audiochuck brands. Set ambitious KPIs for subscriber growth, retention, and monetization.

Content Repurposing & Shorts : Collaborate with Production and Social to identify high-performing audio and video moments that can be repackaged into shorts, reels, or visual stories to extend content lifespan and drive viewership. Drive a YouTube First Shorts strategy to increase reach, engagement, and overall growth

What you will bring to the table :

3+ years of hands-on YouTube channel management or equivalent experience (Experience in podcasting or entertainment is preferred)

5+ years in digital media, audience development, content strategy, or content marketing.

Proven track record of supporting the growth of YouTube channels and delivering through creative and analytical strategies

Deep understanding of YouTube’s algorithm, monetization options, and audience behavior

Familiarity with design tools to create and optimize thumbnails

Expertise in YouTube Studio, Google Analytics, A / B testing tools, and other analytics tools

Ability to execute tasks across cross-functional initiatives and communicate performance insights

Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-output creative environment

This is a full-time, in-person position located in Indianapolis, Indiana or New York, NY.

The base salary for this role is between $80,000 and $100,000. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as : transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
