About the Role

Redhorse transforms how government uses data and technology. This System Engineer role is critical to developing a new IT application automating data access requests, ensuring secure and efficient data handling within a sensitive environment. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing a system that manages Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and / or Protected Health Information (PHI), requiring a high degree of precision and responsibility. Your work will directly improve the efficiency and security of data access workflows within Redhorse, impacting multiple clients and projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design of systems handling and storing sensitive information like PII or HIPAA data.
• Development of business process workflows and automation technology.
• Design and development of data exchange interfaces.
• Ensure secure connection across system components and third-party systems.
• Development of software and / or scripts to support the application’s functionality.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain the data access application.
• Troubleshooting and resolving any technical issues that arise.
