Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to work as a Pharmacy Technician in a closed-door long-term care facility handling a daily volume of approximately 600 prescriptions. The role focuses on preparing medications in proper packaging such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents. Accuracy and efficiency in medication preparation and record-keeping are essential.
Responsibilities include assisting with ordering, receiving, and stocking medications, while monitoring storage conditions and expiration dates to maintain safety and compliance. Maintaining accurate patient and medication records is a critical part of the role. Familiarity with Frameworks software is preferred, though training will be provided.
