Design / Drafting Engineer (Entry-Level)

We're currently seeking a talented Design Engineer . This will be a full-time position, and the Design Engineer is expected to work on-site at our office in Downtown Los Angeles.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop layouts for process equipment systems using 2D and 3D software packages, transforming concepts into construction-ready drawings.
• Design and model piping systems, including pipe supports, using 2D / 3D modeling software such as Aveva E3D (preferred).
• Generate detailed piping design drawings, including general layouts, piping orthographics, isometrics, and pipe support details, utilizing both 2D and 3D modeling software.
• Coordinate designs with piping team members and across other disciplines to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.
• Evaluate vendor equipment for design applications and assist with equipment specifications and reviews to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Examine and validate drawings for quality, accuracy, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure design compatibility and integration within the overall project scope.
• Support project managers and lead engineers in planning, scheduling, and managing engineering tasks to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Assist with the preparation of project reports, presentations, and other documentation to communicate design intent and project status to clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date project files and records to ensure documentation accuracy and accessibility throughout the project lifecycle.
