American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Robotics and Neuro expertise for a hospital setting requiring BLS and ACLS certification.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the hospital Operating Room department
  • Care for patients requiring surgical procedures, including Robotics and Neuro cases
  • Shift is 6 : 30AM to 3 : 00PM
  • Weekend and on-call shifts are required
  • May float to other departments as needed
  • Responsible for coordinating and implementing patient care in the Operating Room
  • Expected to maintain effective communication and respectful relationships with team members and patients
  • Must be knowledgeable and sensitive to patient rights during care delivery
  • Role involves potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens and x-rays
  • Requires flexibility with work hours due to changes in surgical schedules and emergencies
  • Position subject to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility

  • Active New Mexico RN license or Compact license required
  • BLS and ACLS certification via American Heart Association required
  • Graduate of an accredited RN program
  • Experience with Robotics and Neuro surgical cases required
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience in an OR setting
  • Ability to handle prolonged standing, heavy physical effort, and emergency situations
