American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of both cath lab and EP experience and current ARRT(R) or CCI(RCIS) certification plus BLS and ACLS.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital-based cardiac catheterization lab with periodic floating to EP unit as neededCaseload per technologist varies based on patient volumeProcedures include PCI, Shockwave, CSI, Impella insertion, balloon pump, monitoring, pacing, and ablation (burn) casesPreferred experience includes tilt table studies, cardioversion, vascular (carotid and peripheral), PFA, and Watchman casesRequired equipment experience with Siemens and GEUtilizes Epic and MAC Lab for chartingDay shift hours are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMWeekday and weekend on-call required on a rotational basis; weekend call runs Friday 5 : 00 PM through Monday 7 : 00 AMHospital-issued scrubs are requiredFirst-time travelers are accepted with cath lab and EP experiencePrevious staff must be separated from the facility system for at least 1 year prior to returning as a travelerAll time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of application; approval based on facility needsLocal candidates within 60 miles are not acceptedParking is provided at no costAll staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-Nov)Modules and onboarding are completed prior to startTeam structure includes collaboration with other technologists and interdisciplinary staff\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year of cath lab and EP experience requiredCurrent ARRT(R) with SCRQSA(R), or CCI(RCIS) with SCRQSA certification requiredBLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only)Radiation badge must be provided by the agencyAbility to circulate, monitor, and pace in cath lab and EP proceduresMust be able to provide proof of SSN and driver’s license for considerationExperience with Epic and MAC Lab preferredCandidates must live within 30 minutes of the facility due to STEMI call response requirementsLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
