Job Title : Fuel Cell Sealer

Job Description

Join our onsite vendor team at an aircraft manufacturing facility, where you will be responsible for integral fuel cell sealing. This involves applying sealing compounds to seal fuel cells and related wing section components, as well as sealing major assemblies and large structures.

Responsibilities

• Seal, fillet, fay, cap seal, and brush coat major assemblies, sub-assemblies, precision bench, and integral fuel cells.
• Apply scotch cast, leveling compound, aerodynamic seal, and conduct pressure tests.
• Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to meet quality requirements.
• Complete required data gathering transactions to facilitate sealer progression.
• Perform any necessary pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, and functional testing during or after final seal progression.
• Use measuring instruments as required to accomplish work assignments.

Work Environment

Work in a factory setting with shifts ranging from 8 to 12 hours, up to 7 days a week. Training is conducted either on-site or in Wichita, KS, with travel expenses covered. While workloads may vary, all hours are paid, ensuring compensation during both active and waiting periods. No tools are required for this position.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Renton, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $51.00 / hr.
