American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist experienced in CT and general X-ray modalities, with current BLS, ARRT, and Indiana State License required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a short-term acute care hospital with 153 staffed bedsUnit features 2 Phillips IQon CT scanners, 2 Siemens DR X-ray rooms, and Carestream portable equipmentCovers ER, inpatient, outpatient, and both adult and pediatric patient populationsStroke 1 accredited hospitalSchedule includes Thursday 8 : 00 AM–4 : 30 PM, Friday 6 : 00 PM–6 : 00 AM, and Saturday 6 : 00 PM–6 : 00 AMOn-call is required up to 4-5 call shifts per month, including at least 1 weekend and 1-2 weekdays on-call per monthHoliday coverage required; candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidaysNo floating between units or to sister facilities requiredUses Cerner EMR; Cerner experience required or preferredScrub color is royal blueFirst-time travelers are accepted for this positionRole includes coverage for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient CT and X-ray imaging, including stroke casesFree parking providedAllied and surgical services positions accept local candidates at travel ratesCandidates with recent perm or PRN employment at this facility must have a 12-month break before considerationMust be comfortable providing care to both adult and pediatric patientsRoyal blue scrubs requiredReturn-to-work (RTO) requests of 5 non-holiday days or fewer are auto-approved; all others require approval\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 18 months of experience in CT and X-ray modalities requiredMust hold current BLS, ARRT certification, and Indiana State License; license required if applicableMust be able to perform both CT and general X-ray procedures as a multi-modality technologistComfortable working alone at timesExperience with Siemens, Carestream portable, and Phillips equipment requiredNo pending state license accepted; credentials must be in hand to startGraduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited university required\n Benefits\n
