You will provide a broad range of legal support to product manager, engineering, user experience, platform, industry strategy, and strategic partnerships teams serving the PDMS (Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions) group. You will also help support strategic partnerships, M&A, and integration projects. If you join our team, you'll be immersed in innovation and surrounded by inspiring and engaging people, and we strive to create a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

You will report to the Director and Senior Corporate Counsel. This position will be hybrid and based out of our Portland, Boston, Denver, or Toronto offices.

  • Learn and advise on the legal implications of new technologies and business models.
  • Help develop and implement programs for policy and process improvements to enable teams to move faster and smarter.
  • Support M&A activities for specified product areas, including due diligence reviews, advising on transaction structure, execution, and integration matters, with a focus on intellectual property and go-to-market issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • You have a JD (Juris Doctorate) degree from an ABA accredited university and are in good standing as a member of the Bar.
  • You have 4+ years of experience providing legal support in product, IP, data use and privacy, tech transactions, or combination of these skills.
  • Software and cloud service business experience, either at a law firm or corporate legal department; global experience preferred.
  • Experience negotiating complex technology transactions.
  • Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to interact authentically and professionally at all levels and with a wide variety of roles.
  • Ability to explain complex issues in an understandable and straightforward way tailored to the audience.
  • Practical and flexible. Able to handle ambiguity, juggle multiple matters at once, prioritize and shift from one situation to another.
  • Enthusiastic about solving problems and making a positive impact to the company.
  • Adept as taking a business-enabling approach. Able to come up with creative, pragmatic solutions that achieve corporate objectives while mitigating legal risk.
  • Committed to continuous learning and personal development.
