Case Manager Assistant

If that sounds like you, Guerin Woods is looking for a Case Manager Assistant to join our Family Preservation Program team. Youll play a key role in supporting families involved with the Indiana Department of Child Services helping them build stability, confidence, and stronger futures.
What Youll Be Doing (AKA A Day in the Life)
- Welcoming new clients and walking them through the admission and orientation process
- Creating and maintaining client files (both digital and paper) and keeping everything organized and up to date
- Supporting Case Managers with weekly groups and family meetings
- Building positive, trusting relationships with clients while modeling healthy communication and time management
- Delivering client paperwork to FSSA and uploading documents to SharePoint
- Keeping case notes and records current so the team always has accurate information
- Assisting with monthly household and file audits to make sure everything is in good order
- Pitching in with office organization, memos, and resource materials - whatever helps the team run smoothly
- Attending IEP and school meetings alongside clients, when needed
What You Bring to the Team
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in social services or a related field preferredAt least 21 years of ageValid driver's license and current auto insurance meeting Indiana requirementsExperience caring for children of various ages; knowledge of child development a plusAbility to pass all DCS background checks and complete required training modules (including CPR / BLS) within 60 days of hireStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsA calm, professional presence and a genuine respect for each family's unique storyThe Perks
