First-time travelers accepted as long as experience requirements are met.

Previous Charge Experience is a plus.

In-depth experience with trauma and critical care preferred.

Patient ratio experience is desirable.

Charting system experience is required.

Description :

Looking for an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a challenging role.

The position involves rotating 12-hour shifts from 06 : 30 to 19 : 00 with a variable schedule.

Weekend coverage is required every third weekend.

On-call responsibilities exist.

Candidate should have experience with advanced respiratory equipment including Hamilton G5, C6, C1, MR1 ventilators.

Experience with SiPAP, Volara, V60, and Airvo 2&3 is beneficial.

Exposure to Level I trauma and surgical / trauma ICUs, as well as cardiac ICU, is required.

The role includes caring for post-operative heart patients and patients in medical ICU.

Knowledge in adult critical care and emergency procedures is essential.

The candidate will be responsible for extubation, intubation assistance, and other advanced respiratory skills.

Candidates must demonstrate skills in tracheostomy care, arterial blood gas interpretation, and pulmonary hygiene techniques.

Proven ability to perform patient transports and work within an interdisciplinary team is vital.

Must have the ability to troubleshoot high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.

Understanding various respiratory therapies and medications is critical for success in this position.
