Responsibilities

• Drive and operate trucks.
• Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
• Travel between NYC and New Jersey 2-3 times per week, supporting multiple job sites.
• Pre-inspect truck.
• Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed. Majority of loads are heavy equipment : boom lifts, telehandlers, trucks, containers.
• Load and unload cargo.
• Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times.
• Complete and verify paperwork for accuracy.
• When driving duties are complete, assist Yard Foreman with laboring duties around the warehouse / yard.
• Tool Repair a plus.
• CDL Class A required. HOME DAILY!
