About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : Night 3x12-Hour; Day 3x12-Hour

Hours per Shift : 12 Hours

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) or strong Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) background with experience floating

License : California RN license required

Certifications : BLS, PALS

Must-Have : Ability to float within the scope to meet facility needs; willingness to work holidays; pediatric experience

Description :

This position is for a Registered Nurse in a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool.

The role requires floating between different units as needed.

The schedule includes a variable 3x12 shift pattern, with weekend shifts required every 4-week schedule.

Travelers must be able to work 2 out of 3 designated holidays.

Clinical competencies required include experience with ECMO, ventilator management, and pediatric patient care.

Charting will be conducted using the Epic system.

The unit admits a large volume of pediatric patients annually with a variety of critical conditions.
