Job descriptionMeets monthly and annual sales targets as designated by the manager. Visits customers and potential customers to provide support, information, and sell the Company\'s products. Coordinates with the accounting department to assure the collection of payment in a timely manner. Inputs, updates, and maintains sales orders, invoices, and bill-back data within the Company database. Updates and maintains customer records in the Company database. Updates and prepare all monthly sales materials / reports as defined by the Company. Maintains high levels of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and building rapport. Responds to and communicates with all customers in a timely manner. Reports any inventory or service issues to appropriate department immediately. Coordinates with warehouse and delivers orders to customers as needed. Educates customers on how the products or services can benefit them. Maintains and safely navigates the Company vehicle as per the Company Vehicle Policy. Attends semiannual inventory count on designated day, possibly on a weekend. Attends Company events and functions outside of normal working hours. Other duties as assigned. Conversational level English required; Business level English preferred. Business level Spanish or Japanese highly preferred. Has and maintains a clean driving record. Maintains a positive attitude; works efficiently independently and in a team. Adapts to frequent changes in assignments and workload. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor\'s degree and above preferred. Minimum 3 years of food wholesale / distribution experience preferred. Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic mathematical knowledge (markups, discounts, inventory counting, weight and measurement conversions). Strong customer service and problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic Microsoft Office proficiency; ERP system knowledge highly preferred. Knowledge of Japanese foods preferred.
