Job Title : Credit and AR Analys

Location : San Jose, CA

Shift : M-F, 9AM-5PM

Pay Ra nge : $27 - $30 / hr

Employment Type : Temporary

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams-including Sales, Logistics, Inventory, Treasury, and Accounting-as well as direct communication with customers' Accounts Payable teams to resolve billing, payment, and credit-related issues. The ideal candidate will proactively identify risks, improve processes, and drive efficiency throughout the order-to-cash cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately apply customer payments and ensure timely cash posting.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up to ensure prompt collections.
• Reconcile, research, and resolve credit and billing discrepancies on A / R accounts.
• Investigate and address customer inquiries and irregularities.
• Review sales forecasts and payment history to simulate appropriate credit limits.
• Evaluate and approve credit memos and RMA requests.
• Conduct quarterly financial statement reviews for key customers.
• Manage credit insurance exposure and coordinate with underwriters when needed.
• Generate and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports (cash forecast, aging, etc.).
• Partner with Sales and Logistics teams to resolve shipment or billing-related disputes that delay payments.
• Recommend and implement best practices to enhance AR and credit processes.
• Support internal control reviews and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analyses as assigned.
