Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, and implement process control solutions for life sciences manufacturingProgram, test, and document Emerson DeltaV DCS systemsDevelop user requirements, software / hardware design specifications, and validation protocolsCreate electrical panel schematics and scope of supply documentationLead and manage automation projects, ensuring timely progress and deliverySupport on-site installation, testing, and startup of control systemsCollaborate with plant engineers and operators to optimize control strategiesProvide training to operators and engineering staff on control systemsQualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplineProven experience in the biotech / pharma industryStrong understanding of S88 Batch structure and DeltaV architectureProficient in reading and interpreting P&IDs and automation narrativesHands-on experience with commissioning and startup of control systemsFamiliarity with PLC, HMI, and SCADA platforms (Rockwell, Siemens, Wonderware, GE)Knowledge of control system networking (TCP / IP, Ethernet / IP, OPC UA, Profibus)Understanding of cGMP, FDA regulations, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
