Construction Billing Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a construction company in North Phoenix. They are in search of a billing specialist. specifically AIA, to join their team. This job is fully in office, Monday-Friday 7am,-4pm.

As an AIA Biller, you will play a key role in the financial aspect of projects by preparing and submitting AIA billing forms, tracking project progress, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing. You must have hands-on experience with AIA billing processes and understand the complexities involved in billing for construction projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and submit AIA billing forms (G702, G703) for construction projects.
  • Work closely with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary documentation and ensure accurate invoicing.
  • Review project contracts, change orders, and job costs to verify billable items.
  • Coordinate with accounting and project teams to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain accurate records of AIA billings and payments received.
  • Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track job progress and ensure that project timelines are reflected in the billing process.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and subcontractors regarding billing inquiries.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years of AIA billing experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AIA billing forms, contract terms, and change orders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and construction-related software (e.g., Procore, Sage 100, Viewpoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
