We are looking for an experienced Mail Infrastructure Engineer to create, set up, keep up, and fix strong email systems for our company. The best candidate will have a lot of technical knowledge about mail infrastructure, security protocols, and system integration. This will make sure that our email platforms work as well as possible, are reliable, and are safe.
Main Duties :
Use standard platforms like Microsoft Exchange, Postfix, Sendmail, Google Workspace, and Office 365 to design, set up, and run a scalable mail infrastructure.
Check on the performance and availability of the mail server, analyse it, and make it better.
Use security best practices like anti-spam, anti-virus, encryption, and authentication systems like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Fix problems with mail delivery, client access, and server health.
Work with IT teams to make sure that directory services and user management systems (like Active Directory and LDAP) work together without any problems.
Keep detailed records of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Keep up with new email technologies, threats, and rules that you need to follow.
Give Tier 2 or 3 support for email-related problems and service requests that have been sent up.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or the same amount of experience) is required.
More than two years of experience managing enterprise mail systems.
A lot of knowledge about email security protocols, SMTP, IMAP, POP3, DNS, and TLS / SSL.
Knowledge of security appliances, mail gateways, and spam filtering.
Good at scripting and automation (like PowerShell, Bash, and Python).
Good at analysing, communicating, and writing down information.
Having relevant certifications, like Microsoft Certified : Exchange Server or CompTIA Security+, is a plus.
Pay : $50 to $70 per hour, depending on experience and certifications.
