This is an incredible opportunity to work at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, recognized as the largest hospital in Wisconsin with innovative care delivered by a dedicated team.

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

$10,000 Sign-On Bonus available plus a $2,000 bonus for PM shifts

Your Role :

Maintain a clean and efficient surgical area for optimal patient care

Utilize aseptic techniques in the preparation of materials and equipment for surgeries

Assist in various surgeries and maintain knowledge of procedures

Function as a Second Assistant during operations as needed

Ensure equipment and supply issues are communicated

Position and transport patients safely

Check specialty carts to ensure they are stocked and in working order

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months

No prior experience required, but knowledge of aseptic techniques is essential

Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks

Exposure to hazards including mechanical and chemical, requiring protective gear

Ability to perform multi-tasking in a high-pressure environment
