Position : Talent Acquisitions Specialist
Location : Grand Rapids, Michigan
Salary : $55,000-$65,000
We're looking for a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our client's human resources department. The Talent Acquisitions Specialist will lead the recruitment efforts and help our client build a diverse, high-performing workforce. In this role, you'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle-from sourcing and screening candidates to conducting interviews and extending offers-while ensuring every candidate has a smooth, positive experience. You'll be instrumental in shaping their talent strategy and strengthening their employer brand.
Talent Acquisitions Specialist Responsibilities :
Lead full-cycle recruitment : Source, interview, extend offers, and oversee background checks.
Innovate sourcing strategies : Develop creative approaches to attract diverse, qualified candidates.
Candidate engagement : Review resumes, conduct phone screenings, and ensure timely communication.
Partner with hiring managers : Understand staffing needs and align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
Offer management : Present and negotiate offers while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Compliance & systems : Utilize ATS / HR software, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with laws and policies.
Employer branding : Represent the company at career fairs, networking events, and through partnerships with staffing agencies.
Onboarding support : Manage candidate expectations around start dates and onboarding for seamless transitions.
Diversity focus : Champion equitable hiring practices and collaborate with the EEO Officer to meet diversity goals.
Continuous improvement : Stay current on recruitment trends and contribute to policy and process enhancements.
Talent Acquisitions Specialist Education & Desired Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition.
Strong communication skills-able to build trust and relationships across all levels.
Proven ability to design and execute sourcing strategies for varied roles.
Proactive, independent, and results-driven with high accountability.
Solid understanding of employment laws and best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working knowledge of ATS software.
