Associate Director – Creative Operations

Overview

As an Associate Director – Creative Operations, you will play a key role in working with internal media activation and operations teams and external stakeholders to manage the creative asset workflow associated with digital media campaigns. This role’s primary focus and responsibility is the management of asset delivery, including production timelines and technical specifications, and routing of digital display, video, and other creative assets between the client, internal teams, creative agencies, and media partners. The Associate Director, Creative Operations also plays a vital role with the media team to illustrate the media plan as translated into creative specifications.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working at a creative or digital media agency
  • Experience managing and cross-managing teams
  • Foundational knowledge of digital media creative and technical specs
  • Ability to manage a team overseeing multiple campaigns simultaneously strong project management (time management, organization, and prioritization) skills are a must
  • Experience with smartsheets is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and efficiently across disciplines with colleagues, clients, and partners at all levels
  • Knowledge and skills typically acquired through the completion of undergraduate studies in advertising, marketing, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Leading client communications for creative asset management team and deliverables
  • Overseeing creative kick-off calls with internal and external stakeholders
  • Creating and managing spec sheets in collaboration with media teams and client production teams
  • Providing clear daily communication related to status and next steps for all pending, complete, or at-risk items
  • Managing campaign asset development, including production timelines and routing of assets between client, creative agencies, and media partner
  • Responsible for general advancement of the creative operations progress including optimizing system architecture
  • Performing initial QA of delivered creative assets to confirm that all expected items have been received and meet basic spec requirements (such as file type, file size, and clip length)
  • Communicating with operations team to ensure creative assets are trafficked and set live correctly and on time
  • Supporting client creative asset delivery process throughout the campaign lifecycle
  • Compensation Range $70,000—$125,000 USD
