We are seeking a dedicated Full-time Certified Medical Assistant / Patient Representative to support our team and deliver exceptional care. You will play a crucial role in assisting patients and the clinical team, adhering to our mission of increasing access to high-quality healthcare.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Measure vital signs, conduct vision and hearing tests, and accurately record patient data in eCW, including laboratory results and other relevant information.
• Perform in-house laboratory tests, quality control, and maintain equipment in line with organizational protocols.
• Draw blood and collect specimens as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring proper processing.
• Conduct routine tests in serology, hematology, chemistry, histology, and cytology using standard techniques and equipment, and collect specimens for outside labs as needed.
• Prepare examination rooms and any necessary equipment, assisting during patient examinations and treatments.
• Keep clinical areas well-stocked and organized, maintaining the inventory of laboratory supplies and disposing of outdated materials appropriately.
• Clean and sterilize equipment following organizational policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform basic clerical duties, including answering phones and addressing any issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain thorough logs and records of laboratory tests and ensure completion of all necessary documentation.
• Conduct EKGs as required.

Minimum Education Requirement : High School diploma / GED and 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Preferred Education Requirement : Associate's degree with Medical Assistant National Certification.

Minimum Related Work Experience : 1 year.

Compensation : Hourly range of $22.00 - $23.74.

Location : 75 Washington St, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601.
