Position : Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location : Norwich, NY 13815 – Upstate New York

Employment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Healthcare Setting : Emergency Department

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 21, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 12 Hour Nights, 36 hours / week, every other weekend

Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2330-$2500

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience

Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Active New York State Registered Nurse License

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required

Strong clinical skills in collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and organization

Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and reliability

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients

Serve as primary nurse or accountable nurse, ensuring safe and effective care delivery

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management

Administer medications and treatments safely according to hospital policy

Participate in shared governance, unit council, and quality improvement initiatives

Support new employees and nursing students in a collaborative learning environment

Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education

Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties as assigned
