A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Engineering Technician

Position Type : Full time Contract, Contract to Hire

Duration : 6- 12 months

Location : Palm Bay, FL 32905

Shift : 6 : 00AM – 3 : 45 PM Mon-Thursday; 8 hours on Friday

As an Engineering Technician you will

• Perform a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and / or optical areas.
• Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment.
• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
• Work from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
• May work with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions
• Support of Space Vehicle satellite manufacturing
• Following engineering drawings and defined manufacturing processes.
• Navigating and working to paperless work instructions (MES)
• Lead complex tasks when needed.
• Cable and harness installation, routing and cable management, cable mate / demate operations
• Mechanical assembly and test of space hardware including ESD sensitive hardware.
• System level hardware integration.
• Rigging / overhead crane and forklift operation,
• Preparation for and conducting system level hardware testing (deployments, environments testing, etc.).
• Performing system level alignments to meet system requirements
• Field support for launch vehicle integration Manual dexterity, motor skills and situational awareness to handle and manufacture space hardware.
