Data Engineer - Conshohocken, PA or Plano, TX (Hybrid)

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? A fast-growing company is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Strategic Analytics Team. In this hybrid role (based in Conshohocken, PA or Plano, TX), you'll design and implement scalable data solutions that directly support business stakeholders across marketing, finance, underwriting, and beyond.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years building data solutions in SQL Server / Warehouse
  • Strong T-SQL and Python development / debugging skills
  • 2+ years working in Cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Warehouse, and NoSQL
  • Experience implementing Data Lakes (Microsoft Fabric, PySpark, Databricks, ADLS)
  • CI / CD using Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Cloud certifications (Azure preferred)
  • Familiarity with MDM, Big Data, ML / AI concepts
  • Industry experience in finance or insurance a plus
  • Experience supporting production systems, monitoring ADF pipelines, and debugging SQL / Python
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

  • 50% Building and maintaining pipelines and data warehouses
  • 30% Cloud data architecture and governance
  • 20% Analytics support and reporting enablement

  • 60% Hands-on engineering and coding (SQL, Python, ADF, Databricks)
  • 20% Cross-functional collaboration with business teams (finance, marketing, underwriting)
