Travel Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Nights
Duration : 13 weeks
Start Date : 12 / 1 / 2025
Shift : Nights, 12 hours (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM), every other weekend, no call, rotating holidays
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week
Experience Required : Previous RT experience preferred
Certifications / Licensure :
RRT or CRT (NBRC) required
NRP required upon submission and hire
BLS required
Massachusetts RT licensure
Job Summary :
Reporting to the Director of Cardio / Pulmonary / Neurology / Sleep Disorders, the Respiratory Therapist provides a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care services for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities :
Perform respiratory care procedures in accordance with hospital policies.
Evaluate, treat, and reassess patients following physician orders.
Function independently and assist Physicians / Nursing in therapeutic modalities.
Participate in Code Team and Rapid Response Team.
Assist with orientation and training of respiratory and nursing personnel.
Provide patient and family education.
Participate in CQI initiatives and departmental education.
Transport patients as needed.
Support patients’ rights to care, privacy, and respect.
Assist Director with special projects and inventory control.
Other duties as assigned.
Education :
Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Respiratory Therapy program
High school diploma or equivalent
