Surgery physician job in Idaho : Locums CVT Surgeon Idaho Falls, Idaho

Coverage Dates : December 18 December 21, 2025Shift : 7 : 00am 7 : 00am (24-hour shifts)Coverage Type : Full coverage for adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases

Position Overview : This CVT Surgeon locums role requires competency in open heart surgery, including CABG and aortic dissections, and 24 / 7 rounding on all inpatients. Provider will cover any adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical cases.

Support Staff :

First assistant (NP / PA)

2 surgical techs

1 RN circulator

Anesthesiologist

ICU nursing staff

Step-down nursing staff (4th floor)

EMR : Meditech

Requirements :

American Board of Thoracic Surgery Certification Required

Provider must be available for daily rounding and 24 / 7 CVT call coverage
