Clinical Quality Assurance Registered Nurse

Job Summary :

The Clinical Quality Assurance Registered Nurse at Nursing South Corp. plays a pivotal role in supporting the operational efficiency of our Home Healthcare organization. This position requires a well-organized and good-spirited collaborator who can start immediately. The Clinical Quality Assurance Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing supporting tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the division.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1.       Conduct QA audits of SOC- ROC- RECERT and other paperwork to ensure all documentation is submitted according to state, federal, and agency requirements.

2.       Data entry of referral information into electronic medical record system.

3.       Review OASIS, POC, and Clinicians Notes.

4.       Review SOC documentation codes diagnosis.

5.       Ongoing case management and documentation review.

6.       Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications : Registered Nurse.

Minimum of one year’s experience in healthcare setting as a medical record technician, Quality Assurance in clinical documentation.

Must be proficient in English and Spanish.

Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and other relevant tools.

High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and readiness.

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $45,000.00 to $55,000.00

Schedule : 8 : 30am – 5 : 00pm Monday to Friday
