About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner for a 72-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota, starting Oct 27, 2025. This flexible role offers hands-on wound care in long-term care settings, with day shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, any 3 days per week. Advanced wound care skills and familiarity with UltraMist Wands and various skin graft techniques are essential for this opportunity.

Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver direct wound care services to patients, primarily in long-term care facilities and residential settingsUtilize advanced wound care modalities, including UltraMist Wands and application of skin grafts (fish skin, placenta, lab-grown)Travel to patient residences and long-term care sites to provide clinical wound careCollaborate with facility staff to ensure continuity and quality of wound careMaintain accurate documentation in the WoundExpert EMR systemApply evidence-based practices and adhere to clinical protocolsAdditional Information
Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in MinnesotaWound, Ostomy and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification requiredPrior hands-on wound care experience is essentialExperience with surgical PAs and podiatry is preferredExperience with UltraMist Wands and various skin grafting techniques highly desiredProviders with advanced wound care backgrounds will be prioritizedBenefits
