CNA Student Opportunity at The Barrington of Carmel

Are you aspiring to launch a rewarding career in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)? The Barrington of Carmel invites dedicated individuals to join our CNA Training Program, offering a comprehensive two-week training course and three weeks of hands-on clinical experience.

UPCOMING CLASSES :

Classroom Training - January 5th to January 16th

M - F, 8 : 30a-4p

Followed by Clinical Training (3 weeks) alongside a CNA

Schedule varies (12hr shifts 2 or 3 times a week)

Program Overview :

Training Course : CNA students will participate in a comprehensive training course weekdays. Studying at home will be required to succeed in the course.

First Hands-on Practice : Students will practice their new skills on patients for the first time under the guidance of the class instructor. Hours may vary.

Scheduling : Upon successful completion of the training course, students will have the opportunity to select their CNA schedules based on their performance in the class. While a full-time position is not guaranteed, we strive to accommodate our students to the best of our ability.

Clinical Hours : Students will work one-on-one with experienced CNAs, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment. Your clinical hours will be comprised of 12-hour shifts about three days a week, from 7 AM to 7 PM, and include weekends.

Qualifications :

Must be dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic about pursuing a career in healthcare, particularly in long-term care.

Must be able to pass a basic reading and math comprehension test which will be administered by HR during the interview process.

Ability to commit to the entire training program and clinical hours. See complete calendar below.
