Two Full Time Preschool Teacher positions open hours are 9 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM Monday through Friday. Pay Range $18.00 - $23.75 base on experience.Create a safe, caring, and supportive space for all children. Expose children to new experiences and creative activities. CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
- Plan and submit weekly age-appropriate lessons
- Supervise use of classroom supplies and materials
- Follow all EEC rules and Bright Futures policies
- Keep children’s records confidential
- Actively supervise children to ensure their safety
- Help with snack and meal times, including setup and cleanup
- Rotate toys and classroom materials regularly
- Update bulletin boards and newsletters
- Escort children to and from transportation
- Conduct regular child progress reviews
- Meet children’s physical and emotional needs
- Take roll call and head counts
- Make sure children get time for outdoor or physical play
- Always keep track of all children and maintain correct staff ratios
- Keep the classroom clean, safe, and organized
- Follow proper hand washing procedures
- Do other tasks as assigned by the Director

Communicate with parents about their child’s day and progress through the parent appAttend parent conferences as neededBe responsive and approachable to parentsMaintain individual child records as requiredKnow about classroom allergies and chronic conditionsRecord and report all incidents and accidentsReport inappropriate behavior or parent complaints to the DirectorReport suspected child abuse or neglect as required by lawEnsure all children’s needs are met at all timesRequirements : Qualifications
High school diploma or GED requiredMust be at least 18 years oldThree credits in Child Growth and Development and related work experience (provide transcripts / documentation)EEC certification required (copy kept on file)At least 1 year of verified childcare experienceCurrent CPR and First Aid certification (copies required)Complete all required EEC online and annual trainingsWork Environment
Childcare center, open Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 am–5 : 30 pmHours and classroom assignments may changeMay need to work extra hours or during bad weatherExpected to attend monthly staff meetings and training daysRegular, reliable attendance requiredTime off requests must be submitted in writing 2 weeks in advanceMust interact respectfully with children, parents, and co-workersPhysical Requirements
