Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur is a long-term care residence for Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving God. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our Sisters in a faith-based environment. Our mission is to extend God’s goodness through service.
We are seeking compassionate and reliable State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNA) to join our healthcare team in our 80-bed, five-star facility. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to our Sisters, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

We have various shifts available :
- 1st shift (6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm) every other weekend
- 1st shift (6 : 00am - 6 : 00pm) every other weekend
- 2nd shift (2 : 00pm- 10 : 30pm) Full Time
- 3rd shift (10 : 00pm -6 : 30am) 32 hours
All shifts include weekends and holidays! Generous shift differential!
Requirements :
Key Responsibilities :
Assist Sisters with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobilityMonitor and record vital signs and intake / output records and report any changes to nursing staffProvide emotional support and companionship to SistersAssist with feeding and hydration as neededTransport Sisters to appointments and activitiesMaintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocolsSupport nursing staff with clinical tasks and documentationFollow care plans and ensure Sisters comfort and safety at all timesAble to care for Sisters at end stage of lifeConsidered an essential worker so have to report to work during severe weatherChart in PointClickCare (PCC)Skills and Qualifications :
Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certificationPrior experience in a healthcare setting - Long Term Care experience preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCompassionate, patient, and respectful attitudeAbility to work effectively as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and discretionWhy Work for Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur
