Job Description The Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) will provide critical care and support for a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing patients with various diagnoses and acuity levels, administering medications, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care. Responsibilities Manage and monitor adult and pediatric patients in the emergency department. Administer blood products and perform phlebotomy. Conduct central line care and management. Start and maintain IVs; administer emergency medications and IV paralytics. Monitor patients undergoing procedural sedation. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Implement isolation precautions as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience working independently in an emergency department. Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS. Experience with patient ratios of 1 : 5 - 6. Preferred skills : IV therapy, procedural sedation, management of cerebrovascular accidents (CVA).
