Description :
Unit profiles provide an exceptional understanding of the unit.
Profiles include location, number of beds, patient ratios, and unique details.
This assists in effectively identifying highly qualified staff.
The unit consists of 19 beds and 36 staff members.
Day shift staff are all RNs, with OB tech / CST support.
Night shift staff are all RNs, with OB tech / CST support.
Patient ratios are based on acuity, following IDPH guidelines.
Key equipment includes OBIX, EFM, and EMR - Epic.
Most recruited skill set includes strong communication skills.
Candidates should be team players and able to remain calm in busy environments.
Dress code includes scrubs provided by the facility.
The unit is a newly built facility with a state-of-the-art design.
It is a Level II unit with extended capabilities designation, 24 / 7.
The facility has been Baby-Friendly Certified and Gold Safe Sleep Certified.
The environment features long-term experienced staff with a cohesive family atmosphere.
Motivated and progressive physicians are part of the team.
