Job descriptionCompletion of an approved certified electronics, electrical and / or instrumentation program or minimum of two (2) years of experience or a combination of education and experience in industrial electrical and / or instrumentation repair and maintenance Basic experience in the maintenance and repair of electrical circuits and connected equipment Valid state drivers license Must have minimum personal tools as described by the department tool list (or be able to obtain them within 90 days of hire date) Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or without reasonable accommodations Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (this includes Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required. This exam is based on skills / abilities and / or academic knowledge; as well as safety. High School diploma or GED 3 years' experience working with High Voltage Distribution Power Lines Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program (Lineman) Must be comfortable with heights (125 Feet or more)

Electrician - Line Crew Job Summary
Skilled worker in the electrical / instrumentation field whose duties include, but are not limited to the removal, repair and installation of electrical components and basic to intermediate troubleshooting.
Electrician - Line Crew Responsibilities
- Perform safe completion of routine and non-routine repairs and construction
- Perform preventive maintenance, installation and repair of industrial electrical and / or instrumentation equipment (i.e. substations, power distribution systems, switchgear motors, motor controls, systems and components, process controls, instrumentation and pneumatic equipment)
- Assist with troubleshooting of industrial electrical and / or instrumentation equipment
- Perform other duties as assigned

Employees who are required to work on-site are eligible for a $750 monthly housing allowance, provided they meet program guidelines.
