Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager, Inpatient Services will work Full Time, Days and has 24-hour responsibility and accountability for delivery of patient care within the defined patient care areas. The Nurse Manager identifies goals and opportunities for his / her defined areas consistent with organizational goals, strategies and initiatives. The Nurse Manager's areas of responsibility include but are not limited to :
Qualifications

Education : Associates Degree in Nursing required. And, must graduate from an accredited Bachelor's in Nursing Degree program within one year in position. Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience : A minimum of 5 years professional healthcare experience with 2 years in a supervisory position with progressive management responsibilities required.
Licensure / Certificates : New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse. BLS Certification. ACLS, PALS, other certifications as required by Unit.
Skills : Planning. Organizing. Communicating. Leading. Listening. Collaborating.
Physical Requirements : Walking, sitting, lifting no more than 50 pounds.
