Quality Assurance Senior Manager

The Quality Assurance Senior Manager is responsible for driving the quality focus across all business functions within the organization. The position is expected to achieve a safety and quality-first leadership position by increasing the hands-on understanding of quality-critical activities and processes throughout the product and service offerings. The Quality Assurance Senior Manager is responsible for developing a service-oriented team to consistently produce high-quality technical support while maintaining all quality standards. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Operations and is based on-site at our facility in Perry, FL. FLSA Classification : Exempt

Required Skills and Abilities
Leadership : Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

Analytical and Problem-Solving : Exceptional analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving (e.g., root cause analysis).
Collaboration : Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Change Management : Experience in leading organizational change and fostering a culture of quality.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a scientific discipline, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or directorial role.
Proven track record of building, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS).
In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.).
Experience with regulatory compliance and managing regulatory inspections.
Certifications such as Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ / OE) from ASQ, Six Sigma Black Belt, or similar are highly desirable.
Physical Demands
Must be able to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials.
Manual dexterity to evaluate, modify and operate machinery and equipment.
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
Occasionally moves files and boxes of records weighing up to 20 lbs.
Constantly operates a computer and other office machinery, such as copiers, printers, and phones.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 90% of the time.
Must be able to accurately exchange information with co-workers, customers, vendors, and management.
Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and any other access requirements necessary to enter and work at customer locations.
