POSITION SUMMARY :
Mid-America University seeks a part-time faculty member for in-person teaching in undergraduate courses in the area of management and business administration. The applicant must possess a strong Christian background. Our greatest need right now is for instructors who can teach in-person between the hours of 8 : 00 am and 12 : 00 pm for Monday / Wednesday / Friday and Tuesday / Thursday classes. Consideration will also be given to candidates who can teach in the evenings. This is not an online teaching position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Teach courses within the School of Business as assigned by the Management and Business Administration Program Directors
- Provide quality instruction by following the department’s course syllabus, grading assignments, tracking attendance
- Submit course grades and perform other administrative duties as required.
- Respond and effectively communicate with the Program Director(s) and / or Chair regularly
- Available to teach courses in the timeslots needed to support the goals of the University
- Perform other such duties as may be deemed appropriate

MBA preferred or Master's degree in business administration or Master’s degree in management, with at least 18 hours of graduate coursework in Business courses.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
Experience with interactive computer programs (e.g. Zoom)Experience with either D2L, Canvas, or Blackboard- MACU utilizes CanvasPHYSICAL DEMANDS :
