About The Position

Hours per Shift : 12 hours (1830-0700)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience

License : Valid nursing license required

Certifications : PALS, BLS

Must-Have : Ability to care for patients in both the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and on the general pediatric floor

Description :

Seeking a Pediatric RN to provide care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.

Clinician must be able to manage complex cases, such as continuous nebulization and insulin drips.

Will also be required to care for patients on the general pediatric floor, managing 3-4 patients when the PICU is not at capacity.

Experience with Epic electronic medical record systems is preferred.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 1 or 1 : 2 in the PICU and 1 : 3 or 1 : 4 on the general pediatric floor.

Position requires working 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays.

Floating to other departments may be required, including assistance in other units as needed.

Dress code includes navy scrubs or a child-friendly colorful scrub top with navy pants.
