Hours of Work : \n0700-1530\n\nDays Of Week : \nMonday - Friday\n\nWork Shift : \nPRN (United States of America)\n\nJob Description : \n\nYour Job : \n\nRegistered nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.\nProvides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).\n\nSupports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.\n\nYour Job Requirements : \n\n

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing\n
• Current Basic Life Support Certification\n
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so\n
• Work experience : Six months RN experience\n\nYour Job Responsibilities : \n\nAdheres to the general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment\n\nby utilizing communication skills, interpersonal relationships and team building.\n\nAssumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient / family / significant\nother educational process.\n\nCommunicates to the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and evaluates\nunderstanding of informational manner.\n\nCreates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility.\n\nEnsures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.\n\nProvides a therapeutic environment through safe, accurate, and timely medication and\nIV administration.\n\nTakes personal responsibility and initiative for performance and for professional growth\nand development.\n\nUtilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care is provided throughout the\nepisode of care.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nMethodist Midlothian Medical Center is the first full-service, acute care hospital in Midlothian, Texas.
