Lead Bartender

Chulita Venice is looking for a lead bartender for a full or part time position. The position involves weekends and the candidate must be available weekends. We are looking for someone extremely outgoing, professional with a knowledge of tequilas and mezcales.

Core Responsibilities

Drink preparation and service :

Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and creating new drink recipes.

Customer service :

Providing excellent service, handling customer complaints, and ensuring guest safety by monitoring intoxication levels and checking IDs.

Inventory and ordering :

Monitoring and ordering bar supplies, managing stock levels, and assisting with communication and transactions with suppliers.

Bar maintenance :

Keeping the bar, storage areas, and equipment clean, sanitized, and well-stocked, including performing opening and closing duties.

Staff supervision :

Training new bartenders, providing ongoing coaching, and helping to create staff schedules.

Additional Duties

Menu development :   Creating and updating bar menus with new drink specials and recipes.

Financial management :   Maintaining bar costs, keeping accurate records, and handling cash.

Compliance :   Ensuring the bar adheres to all food and beverage regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
