Revenue Collector
The position of Revenue Collector is responsible for servicing, collecting revenue and processing cash from station automated ticket vending machines and other sources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Performs functions related to PATCO's AFC System, including servicing ticket vending machines.
- Collect and count revenue from all PATCO revenue collection equipment and other sources in preparation for deposit of funds.
- Perform duties as required, including functioning as a cashier or customer service when needed for special events.
- Assures that fare collection equipment is in working order.
- Individuals in this position must be able to work all shifts, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Performs fingertip maintenance on Ticket Vending machines and related AFC equipment.
- Assists in maintaining a safe and secure work environment by participating in required training, recognizing and reporting hazards and suspicious activity, and uses all required personal protective equipment.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education and / or Experience :
Required :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Individual for this position must have good reading, writing and math skills in preparation of deposit slips and other related paperwork.Individual for this position must have good verbal communication skills in order to interface with patrons when necessary.Individual for this position must be bondable.Preferred :
Prior experience handling and processing large volumes of cash.Experience working with computers and a variety of software.Physical Requirements :
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit (10%), stand and walk (65%) and lift, climb, and bend (25%). The employee must occasionally lift, hold, carry objects up to 50 pounds. Individuals in this position require a full range of physical motion and the ability to lift heavy loads, i.e., completely full coin hoppers 50 pounds, completely full coin vaults 50 pounds. Individual should have normal day and nighttime vision, corrected or uncorrected. Have normal hearing, corrected or uncorrected. This position requires the incumbent to be able to walk, stoop, bend, crawl, ascend / descend stairs and steps carrying coin hoppers and coin vaults, etc. The incumbent must be able to speak clearly and concisely, in person, over the telephone and radio. Must be able to perform all position functions and be able to physically operate all job-related equipment.
