Accountant – AR & Billing

Location : On-site (Near Lakewood)

Job Type : Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $30 - $33 per hour

About the Role :

We’re seeking an experienced Accountant with a focus on Accounts Receivable and Billing to join a growing company on a temp-to-hire or direct-hire basis. This is an on-site role with hands-on responsibility for complex invoicing, reconciliations, collections, and customer follow-up . The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and advanced Excel capabilities.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage high-volume, detailed billing and invoicing processes accurately and efficiently
Handle collections and follow up with customers on outstanding balances
Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close tasks
Collaborate with sales, operations, and accounting teams to ensure billing accuracy
Support audit preparation and respond to billing-related inquiries
Work daily in Google Sheets , applying advanced Excel skills to billing scenarios

Requirements :

5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Billing, or a related accounting role

Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and reconciliation processes

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, formulas, etc.) Test will be given.

Experience working in high-volume environments with tight deadlines

Strong communication and organizational skills
