X-rays are provided at a discounted rate. - On-site pharmacy with discounted prescriptions. - Additional medical coverage provided by Cigna for as little as $30 / month in premium costs- 24 / 7 wellness facility included at no charge including kickboxing, aerobics, etc. - AD&D and supplemental life insurance - Pension and 401k with 4% employer contribution - PTO : Years 1 - 5, an employee will accrue 5.85 hours of leave, per pay period. - 13 paid holidays including Juneteenth Additional Info : JOB SUMMARY : Under general supervision, the physician provides medical care to patients and clinical and / or administrative oversight of health department programs; serves as medical director of Primary Care and Homeless Health Clinic.QUALIFICATIONS : - Must have graduated from an accredited school of medicine with a Doctor of Medicine Degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy degree (DO).- Must possess a State of Tennessee medical license or have applied for licensure in the State of Tennessee.- Must possess a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.- Must have completed residency in Family Practice and must be board certified or eligible for board certification in Family Practice within one (1) year of date of hire.- Must possess a valid driver's license.- Prefer 1 year or more of leadership or management experience within a clinical or hospital setting is preferred.
