What You'll Be Doing

• Ensuring safe and continuous operation, product quality, and compliance with environmental requirements in coordination with plant personnel and other HROC staff.
• Identifying and troubleshooting process and equipment issues in a timely manner and collaborating with plant and HROC teams to resolve problems to minimize downtime and production losses.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of process parameters, equipment readings, and operational activities as required to assist in the analysis of operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Serve as a key point of contact between plant operations, between POD shifts, and management, ensuring that decisions are implemented effectively with Heidelberg Materials tools.
• Act as subject matter expert and a point of escalation to Optimization Specialist team.
• Operate the cement manufacturing process from the centralized operations center, analyze equipment status, optimize process parameters, and respond to alarms to ensure the plant operates within specified parameters as needed.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager to identify training opportunities, provide performance feedback, and develop the skills and knowledge of the Optimization Specialist team.
• Serve as the shift supervisor on a rotational shift, responsible for ensuring the safety of the floor and implementing emergency procedures in the event of incidents locally or at the plant.
